Andrea Hill Consulting was founded by Andrea Hill CMIOSH MIFSM, a Chartered Health & Safety professional and qualified Fire Risk Assessor with over 15 years’ experience working across housing, heritage, education and commercial sectors.

Andrea established AH Consulting to provide clear, practical and proportionate fire safety advice — the kind she believes duty holders actually need.

After working in senior compliance roles within housing associations and national organisations, Andrea saw first-hand how complex fire safety legislation can feel for landlords and managing agents.
She also saw how inconsistent advice and overly complicated reports can create confusion rather than clarity.

Rufus supports AH Consulting by carrying out structured fire door inspections across residential and commercial premises, helping duty holders meet their legal compliance obligations.

His work includes inspection of communal and flat entrance doors, ironmongery, self-closing devices, seals, glazing and overall door set condition, with clear photographic evidence and documented findings provided.
​
Rufus brings a professional, methodical and respectful approach when working within occupied buildings, ensuring inspections are thorough while minimising disruption.
Andrea holds a Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor Diploma (BRE) and applies recognised methodologies such as PAS 79 to all fire risk assessments.
