Pricing

This pricing policy sets out how fire door inspection fees are calculated to ensure transparency, consistency, while remaining fair and proportionate for clients.

All fire door inspections are charged based on time, travel, and the number of doors inspected at a single location. 

​

A sliding scale of prices are available for:

• 1-5 doors 

• 6-20 doors

• 21-50 doors

• 51-100 doors

• 100+ doors

Standard check on a known numbers of fire doors - from £6.50 per door*

 

First inspection for a new client or if there is an unknown number of fire doors - from £12 per door*

 

*price based on 100+ doors in a single/close location(s)

Volume Efficiency

Where multiple fire doors are inspected at the same location (or several locations within a 10 mile radius), efficiency savings are applied. This results in a reduced effective cost per door while maintaining professional standards.

Minimum Charges

A minimum site visit fee applies to all inspections to cover attendance, administration, reporting, and travel overheads.

Disclaimer

AH Consulting will inspect all accessible fire doors within the agreed scope of works.

​

Where access is not available at the time of attendance, doors will be recorded as “No Access” in the report.

​

The agreed inspection fee remains payable in full, as site attendance and allocated time cannot be recovered. Any re-attendance required to inspect previously inaccessible doors will be subject to an additional charge.

It is the responsibility of the Responsible Person or the client to ensure access arrangements are in place prior to the inspection date.
